This residential project was custom-designed during my mandatory military service for a high-ranking officer (Lieutenant Colonel), tailored to his vision for a countryside home. The core of the brief relied on two emotional and spatial requests: the ability to gaze at the open sky while resting in the master bedroom, and experiencing the distinct slope of the roof inside the living volume.

To reflect these desires, I adopted a design approach focused on soft transitions, structural aesthetics, and a lightweight mass orientation. Strategically positioned skylights were integrated to bring the sky views into the interior. Although I initially proposed more complex architectural interventions, the project was refined into its current minimalist and serene state, alignment with the client's strong preference for functional simplicity.
